FilterBuddy Home provides residential HVAC air filters through one-time purchases and subscription plans within the United States.

2. Eligibility

By using this site, you represent that:

  • You have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
  • All information provided is accurate and complete.

3. Product Use & Compatibility

FilterBuddy products are designed for standard residential HVAC systems that utilize 1-inch air filters unless otherwise specified.
You are responsible for:

  • Confirming the correct filter size before ordering.
  • Ensuring your HVAC system can support the selected MERV rating.
  • Proper installation following manufacturer airflow direction.

FilterBuddy is not responsible for:

  • Equipment damage due to improper installation.
  • System strain from incompatible filtration levels.
  • Use in commercial or non-standard systems.
  • Claims related to HVAC manufacturer warranty conflicts.
  • If you are unsure about compatibility, consult a licensed HVAC professional before use.

4. Health & Air Quality Disclaimer

FilterBuddy products are designed to improve residential air filtration. However:

  • We do not guarantee specific health outcomes.
  • We do not claim to treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions.
  • Air quality results vary based on system condition, environment, and usage.
  • Our products are not medical devices.

5. Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to review and acceptance.
We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
  • Limit quantities.
  • Correct pricing or listing errors.
  • Cancel suspected fraudulent transactions.
  • If an order is canceled after payment, a refund will be issued.

6. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Pricing changes will not affect orders already placed.
  • Customers are responsible for applicable taxes based on shipping location.
  • Payment must be completed at checkout for order processing.

7. Subscription Terms

By enrolling in a subscription:

  • You authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the chosen interval.
  • Billing occurs prior to shipment.
  • You may pause, skip, or cancel at any time before your next billing date through your account portal or by contacting support.
  • Subscription Changes
  • Changes (size updates, address updates, etc.) must be made by the 25th of the month to apply to the upcoming shipment. Changes made after that date may apply to the following cycle.
  • Failure to update information before billing does not obligate FilterBuddy to issue refunds.

8. Shipping & Risk of Loss

We ship within the United States.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.
Once an order is transferred to the shipping carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer. FilterBuddy is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Carrier disruptions
  • Weather events
  • Natural disasters
  • Labor strikes
  • Other events beyond our control

9. Returns & Replacements

Due to the nature of air filtration products:

  • Opened or used filters are not eligible for return.
  • Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
  • Damaged shipments must be reported promptly with photo evidence.
  • Approved replacements are provided at our discretion.
  • Refunds, if granted, will be issued to the original payment method.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a chargeback is initiated:

  • We reserve the right to suspend your account.
  • We may provide transaction records and delivery confirmation to the payment processor.
  • Subscription access may be revoked until resolution.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
FilterBuddy shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Loss of use of HVAC equipment.
  • Energy efficiency impacts.
  • Business interruption.
  • Property damage.
  • Personal injury claims related to improper installation.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in dispute.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FilterBuddy from claims arising from:

  • Improper installation.
  • Use in incompatible systems.
  • Failure to follow HVAC manufacturer recommendations.
  • Misuse or modification of products.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, including branding, text, graphics, and logos, is the property of FilterBuddy and may not be reproduced without written permission.

14. Privacy

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law
